Alexandre Delmar (1982) é fotógrafo e videasta. Vive e trabalha a partir da cidade do Porto e apresenta desde 2009, em co-relação com os projetos que integra, fragmentos da sua obra em diversos contextos expositivos.
O corpo primordial da sua prática encontra-se na criação de imagens num câmbio entre fotografia e vídeo. Apresenta um trabalho multidireccional, sublimado pelas potencialidades estéticas das formas, objetos e ambientes captados.
As imagens de Alexandre Delmar gravitam em torno das dinâmicas entre humanidade e Natureza, o humano e o não-humano, o mito e o espiritual, sobre os movimentos do primordial e ancestral, o contraste de paisagens, a tensão entre lugares, o real, a perda e o "por vir".
Alexandre Delmar (1982) is a photographer and a video artist. He lives in and works from Porto and, in correlation with the projects he’s part of, he presents fragments of his work in several exhibitory contexts.
The core of his MO focuses on the creation of images between Photography and Video. He presents a multidirectional body of work, enhanced by the aesthetic potential of captured shapes, objects and environments.
Alexandre Delmar’s images gravitate around the dynamics between humanity and Nature, human and non-human, the myth and the spiritual, they bounce between the movements of the primordial and the ancestral, the contrast of landscapes, the tension between places, reality, loss and "what is yet to come".
